Full renovation of an apartment built in 1936 on Carrer Provença, in Barcelona’s Eixample district.
The layout is changed to suit the clients’ new needs. The daytime area is enhanced with a kitchen open to the living space.
The Catalan vaulted ceilings and the oak floorboards are restored. The brickwork is also left exposed in the main bedroom so that the building’s materiality can be better understood.
